আন্তর্জাতিক নারী দিবসে নারী অধিকার ও স্বাস্থ্য সচেতনতায় যমুনা ব্যাংকের বিশেষ আয়োজন

গত ০৮ মার্চ যমুনা ব্যাংকের প্রধান কার্যালয়ে যথাযোগ্য মর্যাদায় আন্তর্জাতিক নারী দিবস উদযাপন করা হয়। এবারের প্রতিপাদ্য বিষয় ছিল “আজকের পদক্ষেপ, আগামীর ন্যায়বিচার: সুরক্ষিত হোক নারী ও কন্যার অধিকার”। অনুষ্ঠানের উদ্বোধন করেন ব্যাংকের ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক ও প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা মির্জা ইলিয়াস উদ্দীন আহম্মদ। অনুষ্ঠানে বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন মেজর জেনারেল (অবঃ) প্রফেসর ডঃ লিজা চৌধুরী এবং প্রফেসর ডঃ ফওজিয়া হোসেন। এ সময় ব্যাংকের অতিরিক্ত ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক মোঃ আবদুস সালাম, উপ-ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক নূর মোহাম্মদ, এ. কে. এম. আতিকুর রহমান, মোহাম্মদ জাহাঙ্গীর আলম সহ অন্যান্য ঊর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তাগণ উপস্থিত ছিলেন। নারীদের স্বাস্থ্য সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে অনুষ্ঠানে Cervical Cancer, Breast Cancer এবং Endometriosis বিষয়ক একটি সচেতনতামূলক সেশন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়, যেখানে নারীদের সুস্বাস্থ্য ও সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধির বিভিন্ন দিক নিয়ে আলোচনা করা হয়।

Jamuna Bank Observes International Women’s Day with Awareness Program on Women’s Health

Jamuna Bank PLC. celebrated International Women’s Day at its Head Office with due enthusiasm and dignity on 08^th March. The theme of this year’s observance was “Rights, Justice and Action for All Women and Girls”. The program was inaugurated by the Managing Director & CEO, Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed. The event was graced by Major General (Rtd.) Professor Dr. Liza Chowdhury and Professor Dr. Fauzia Hossain as Special Guests. Additional Managing Director Md. Abdus Salam, Deputy Managing Directors Noor Mohammed, A. K. M. Atiqur Rahman, Mohammad Jahangir Alam and other senior officials of the Bank were also present on the occasion. As part of the program, awareness sessions were conducted on important women’s health issues, including Cervical Cancer, Breast Cancer and Endometriosis, aimed at promoting greater health awareness and well-being among women.
