সাম্প্রতিক যমুনা ব্যাংক পিএলসি এর উদ্যোগে প্রধান কার্যালয়ের সকল বিভাগীয় প্রধানদের অংশগ্রহণে আর্থিক অন্তর্ভুক্তি ও আর্থিক সাক্ষরতা ‘‘পলিসি গাইডলাইন” বিষয়ে একটি ওয়ার্কশপ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। উক্ত কর্মশালাটি আনুষ্ঠানিক ভাবে উদ্বোধন করেন ব্যাংকের অতিরিক্ত ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক এবং সিওও মোঃ আব্দুস সালাম। প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থেকে কর্মশালাটি পরিচালনা করেন বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের ফাইন্যান্সিয়াল ইনক্লুশন ডিপার্টমেন্ট এর সম্মানিত পরিচালক জনাব মোঃ ইকবাল মহসীন। কর্মশালায় প্রধান অতিথি প্রান্তিক জনগোষ্ঠীর কাছে ব্যাংকিং সেবা পৌঁছে দেয়ার গুরুত্ব এবং গ্রাহকদের আর্থিক অন্তর্ভুক্তি নিশ্চিত করতে আর্থিক সাক্ষরতার প্রয়োজনীয়তা নিয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা করেন। বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক কর্তৃক নির্ধারিত সর্বশেষ নীতিমালাসমূহ কিভাবে মাঠ পর্যায়ে কার্যকর করা যায়, সে বিষয়ে বিভাগীয় প্রধানদের দিক নির্দেশনা প্রদান করেন। অনুষ্ঠানে ব্যাংকের উপ-ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালকগণ জনাব নূর মোহাম্মদ, জনাব এ. কে. এম. আতিকুর রহমান, জনাব মোঃ শাহীদুল ইসলাম এবং জনাব মোহাম্মদ জাহাঙ্গীর আলম সহ ঊর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তারা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

Recently, Jamuna Bank PLC. organized a workshop on Financial Inclusion and Financial Literacy “Policy Guidelines” with the participation of all the Head of Divisions of the Corporate Head Office. The workshop was officially inaugurated by Md. Abdus Salam, Additional Managing Director & COO of the bank. Director of the Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank Md. Iqbal Mohsin, was present as the chief guest and conducted the workshop. In the workshop, the chief guest discussed in detail the importance of reaching banking services to the marginalized people and the need for financial literacy to ensure the financial inclusion of the customers. He provided guidance to the divisional heads on how to implement the latest policy guidelines set by BangladeshBank at the field level. The Deputy Managing Directors of the bank, Mr. Noor Mohammed, Mr. A. K. M. Atiqur Rahman, Mr. Md Shahidul Islam and Mr. Mohammad Jahangir Alam along with other senior officials of the bank were present at the event.
