Chairman of the Board
Mr. Belal Hossain was born in a respected Muslim family in Naogaon in 1956. He is a distinguished businessman with a strong reputation both at home and abroad. Over the years, he has established himself as a successful importer, exporter, and entrepreneur, leading several ventures in the food, agro, and industrial sectors.
He currently serves as the Managing Director of Belcon Company Pvt. Ltd., BHI Hitech Food Ind. Pvt. Ltd., Nada Food & Agro Industries Pvt. Ltd., and BHI Specialized Cold Storage Pvt. Ltd.. Beyond his business endeavors, Mr. Hossain is also actively involved in social and community development initiatives across Naogaon, Dinajpur, and Hili.
His exemplary contributions to entrepreneurship have been recognized nationally. He received the “ADGP Fellow Membership” from Atish Dipankar Gobeshona Parishad in 2004 and the “Best Agro-Based Industrial Entrepreneur Award” from FNS Business Awards in 2005.

Mr. Belal Hossain previously served as Chairman of the Board of Jamuna Bank from April 27, 2011, to April 29, 2012. His reappointment marks a return of visionary leadership, integrity, and commitment to driving the bank’s continued growth and transformation.
