Education Loan facility designed to support students in pursuing higher education at home and abroad. The loan provides financial assistance for tuition fees and related educational expenses with convenient repayment options.
Key Features
- Provide financial support (to bear admission fee, tuition fees, course fees, examination fees, living cost, travel expenses, insurance cost & other educational expenses) to students / scholars / learners / professionals who are pursuing higher study, professional degree, or training in home and abroad.
- Loan Size: Minimum Tk. 1.00 Lac – Maximum Tk. 10.00 Lac only (for study in Bangladesh).
- Minimum Tk. 1.00 Lac – Maximum Tk. 20.00 Lac only (for study abroad).
- Loan Tenor: Maximum 5 Years.
Eligibility & Parameters
- Bangladeshi students / scholars / learners / professionals (with proven educational track record) to receive financial support for higher study, professional degree or training (i.e. Undergraduate, Post-Graduate, Doctoral or Professional courses – CA, CMA, CIMA, Marine, MBM, MBA, FCPS, FRCS, Bar-at-Law etc.) in home and abroad.
- Age Limit:
- Student / Non-employed applicants: 18 – 40 years
- Parents / Guardian: 25 – 65 years
- Employed applicants: 22 – 60 years
- Minimum Monthly Income: Tk. 1,00,000
Required Documents
- Copy of valid identification documents (Passport, NID, EID etc.) of the applicant(s).
- Copy of last academic certificates / professional certificates of the applicant.
- Copy of offer letter / invitation letter for Higher Study / Professional Degree / Training abroad.
- Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) – if applicable.
- Income and professional proof of the applicants depending on the profession.
- Copy of E-TIN certificate of the applicants.
- Guarantor’s declaration on bank’s standard format with valid identification documents.
